India is the oldest civilization known but a very young nation. It has seen many ups and downs but has yet to learn from its history. India is a nation where a large percentage of its people works against its own interests and this is seen in history as also today in the public space. This is both deplorable and undesired. In order to compete and be successful India needs to shape up a lot. It will not be easy but much needed and imperative so that it retains its position in the world before the advent of slavery that was inflicted by the external aggressors beginning from about a thousand years back.
